ROYAL ARMOURIES

royal armouries scrapbook #august 2023

This looks like an interesting place to visit, without the kids.

We were greeted by a lovely lady as we entered. She gave us directions and explained what was going on. Very helpful. I haven’t been here for years, not since I took my children maybe 19 years ago. It hasn’t changed much. Here are some photos, just a few I’ve picked out of hundreds. Thanks, daughter.

We enjoyed looking around, holding the chain, me a little more than I should. Lexii volunteered to try on some helmets. You can have a look here. And of course, Warren wanted a turn, which you can also see here.

Pandora didn’t want to—she can be really shy around strangers, which isn’t a bad thing.

We didn’t get to go the whole way round. Warren became uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Everyone decided to come with us. They are so understanding. I’m truly blessed to have them.

But first, we had to go to the shop! Two swords and a very nice camouflage backpack later…

Once outside, the kids played while Grandmaz had a well-earned break. They definitely loved the swords. Warren and Pandora on guard Also, Taarna & Warren thrashing it out!

We had a great day and fit the Bear Hunt, River Taxi , and Armouries in. Believe me, it took two days to recover, but new memories made mission accomplished.

That’s it, and that’s all. Thanks for stopping by!
