River taxi scrapbook #august 2023

We arrived at the station for our lunch. Pandora decided she did not want McDonald’s and just wanted an apple, even though she had some of her mum’s chicken strips and chips. When we were ready to continue, we stopped by to visit Grandad for 2 minutes. The kids enjoyed seeing him at work and there were lots of cuddles.

We arrived at the wharf dock. The taxi was there, but so were a lot of passengers. Warren and I walked in front, eager for our first river taxi. When Taarna and Amanda arrived with Pandora and Lexii, I found out that Pandora did not wish to come on the boat. She said she had a dream that we would fall off the boat. So, Taarna and Pandora walked around to the armories. I was a little upset because not only was she missing out on the fun, but Taarna was really looking forward to the ride. We waited for the next taxi with bated breath. I’m flipping 50 and was looking forward to a 10-minute ride. To be fair to myself, my walking isn’t that great these days, so the rest was welcome. Plus, less walking for this oldie!

It was definitely enjoyable, two pounds per person. I like to expand the kids’ world with lots of different experiences. On the way back, Pandora decided she was getting the taxi back with us. Perfect! She enjoyed it. I’m so happy she decided to join us.

Taarna was very happy to get on the boat, as you can see. Here are a couple of pictures on the bus going home. Nowhere near as fun as the river taxi. see our ride back here thanks daughter x
