Scrapbook #July 2023

art work

Warren created this work after a trip to the Yorkshire sculpture park with school.

He received a prize from school for it.

We are so proud of your hard work Warren!

Well done!

slime

You either love it or hate it, we love it. They were given this slime for trying hard with maths & reading.

dressing up

These two love to dress up, and have many costumes. On this occasion Pandora borrowed my costume & wig she loves Harley Quinn

wall of creation

They had fun using Warrens prize to create the textures of their paintings.

swimming fun

We headed out to the leisure centre with our brollys, it was a fun session Amanda & lexii and Steph & Xane joined us. Its more fun with more family there less buckets of water for my head!

poppings & toppings

Thanks to YouTube, the kids get many ideas. Some I run with, others not so much. They wanted to make chocolate bars out of their fidget toys, so we did! And they were extra nice. Afterward, we made pizzas for dinner.

baby sitting

Xane came for a visit, while his mum prepared for his party. We went shopping & he chose his birthday presents.

Xane walking

happy 1st birthday xane

Xane’s 1st birthday was really good all the family came, that could, Xane loves all his toys and the attention. cake time.

experiment

The kids wanted to do yet another YouTube experiment. They wanted to turn a melon blue.

It didn’t turn out how they expected!

Warren trying new things

lilly

This is Lilly, Gaynor’s daughter. Lilly has just finished primary school, and a leavers disco was arranged. One of the parents had organized a limo for her daughter and friends, including Lilly. Taarna and I gave Lilly a mini makeover. mini make-over

selfies

playing with her friends, little miss bossy.

Playing Dobble, something actually useful from a Happy Meal!

My first German Doner Kebab. It was quite nice maybe order something bigger next time.

rotherham

Well, what can I say about this day out? The shopping center was not the best. We found a Wetherspoons for dinner. The pub was amazing and huge, and the food was standard.

This one left me eating when he had finished, to go on the fruit machines, how rude!

Warren’s bike is ready for him to learn to ride. Our neighbor has a daughter with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and is helping to teach Warren. He’s doing well, but he’s not quite ready yet.

skating

Auntie Steph gave Pandora a pair of roller-boots she loves them take a peek at her first try.

tuckshop

Since March, I have been running a tuck shop on weekends for the grandkids.

It started when we were learning about money. I had the bright idea to get them to earn money to spend at Granny’s tuck shop. Have a look.

That’s it and that’s all. Thanks for stopping by.
