Scrapbook #June 2022

We headed out to Wales, a favourite place to go exploring, so many abandoned places to find.

First we found this abandoned house, we did venture inside it was safe.

Wrong turn!

Lost in the woods opposite the abandoned house.

Safe on dry land “the haystack” it was so muddy as there is a stream that runs down the side of the “path”

It was so peaceful until we came blundering around giggling at the jumps to dry land snagging our legs on the fallen over trees… the fun!!

At last we found our way, the grotto we are searching for is on this land, now how do we access it undetected?

Such a lovely gate, there was also plenty of cctv..

I decided to take a wander around the perimeter, until i came to a hole in the outer wall sure it had some barbed wire but the space was big enough for us to climb through, after a short discussion about trespassing i headed inside to find the grotto shortly followed by Amanda & Jason, and it was not disappointing at all first we came upon a shell house, totally amazing then the grotto it was like nothing i’ve ever seen before, my photos don’t do it justice so take a look here this is the video that made me want to find this hidden beauty.

Not many pics mostly saved videos, the amount of people who have asked me for the location of this is amazing, i’ve only passed it on to decent fellow explorers, we don’t want this site disturbed by hundreds of people its a highly spiritual beautiful place and should be respected.
