I’ve been cross stitching for a while now but still enjoy the little projects….

During lock down I’ve done a little … no surprise….I made this bookmark card for my mum to brighten her day.

I think its really pretty.

It was fun until it came to making it up the original card I kind of glued it to my board, I hate glue, so had to start over & make my own card with an acetate front, used double sided tape this time…..

By the time she received it, she wasn’t very well, but let me know it arrived and would open it later.

maybe opening a surprise will give you a little smile … maybe… do you know my mum?? ha ha ha

This one I’ve made for my best friends birthday she’s more like my sister we’ve been friends longer than 30 years so its safe to say we are family…p.s I can show you cos she won’t be reading my blog bollox unless she is extremely bored… ha ha ha

 

Its a cupcake not a corset yes I know it looks like a corset but it really is a cute cupcake…

Then in good old fashioned stitches mode I went and made this super cute folk hanging bird & stuffed it with cotton wool with a dash of lemongrass oil its lush and smells divine…
